The plank is known to be one of the best exercises for the core. You will feel a lot of soreness on the top of your head, but once you get the feel of it, you will feel it will help you to have a strong and stable core. To start the plank, you can slowly straighten your body on the chair with your legs shoulder width apart, but don’t get too close, or when you come close to the edge of the chair, bend your knees slightly. Then, bring your hands to your feet and keep your body in that position until you reach the end of your arms. Then keep on holding this position as long as possible.
